Photography has always been a passion of mine. It all began when my parents bought me a small digital camera from Target when I was nine. I used it to take photos of the horses I thought were pretty during the annual ROMPC Hunter/Jumper Show while I was on gate duty.

Since then, both my skill and scope of subject has broadened. As an equestrian myself, I have experience shooting eventing, hunter/jumper, dressage, and equine portraits. With a brother and dad who are less interested in horses and more interested in traditional sports, I have also developed my skills in sport photography with a specialty in hockey. In this arena, I have shot for the Waukesha Wings (Varsity & JV), Catholic Memorial High School Lacrosse (Varsity), St. Norbert College Men’s ACHA Hockey, and the Junior Admirals U10 2011. I am also available for golf outings.

Summer of 2023 has been a busy one as I've been a team photographer for the Lake Country Dockhounds, a minor league baseball team in Oconomowoc (American Association). This first foray into professional sports has been eye-opening and challenged me to be creative, think outside the box, and maintain a high-speed turnover of my work to fit the demands of a team that plays 6 days a week. Additionally, I'd never snapped a single photo of baseball prior to starting with the Dockhounds, so to add to the challenge, I've had to learn how to shoot an entirely new sport. The days can be long, but this position has been consistently enjoyable and has only confirmed that this is the field I want to pursue.
